Trying to study for my EKG final exam, all the things you can do to someone who's dead, and I realized that my absolute favorite part of the class is the minute of silence she asks of us in the beginning of every session. There's just something about sitting with umpty other people, quietly. So purposeful, and I swear you can hear all the noise surrounding each person just fading away to peaceful, and every time I think to myself More! More! but her minutes last for 20 seconds or so, and I reckon I need to get myself to yoga if I want the prime-time group silence experience.
Being by yourself and being quiet isn't the same. I don't know why.
Dear pervs on my flist,
They don't teach that in EKG class. Allow me to rephrase: all the OTHER things you can do to someone who's dead.
Question for y'alls: how old were you when you started writing? What did you write? For those who write the sparkly, when did the popslash thing begin? Had you written fanfic before popslash invaded your brain?
It's because I'm still (lo, these many stories later) astonished that I'm doing this. So. Fucking. Weird.
